Your financial help will give the Maasai girls the opportunity to lead lives that preserve these traditions without having to bear the devastating scars of genital mutilation Your contribution will not only produce an immediate, life-changing effect for a young Maasai girl, but it will go towards the goal of eradicating a severe human rights violation acted out on countless children. Your partnership with ISMDI could have an immeasurable effect on young girls’ lives for generations to come. Every bit of your donation will go towards building the ISMDI village. This village will accommodate the young Maasai refugees’ every need, giving them a place to receive quality education, appropriate medical attention and a place among their Maasai peers to call home. For $200 you can sponsor a student, providing them with one year of tuition at a boarding school, books, clothing, materials, room and board and toiletries. You will get to know the student you sponsor through pictures and personal letters detailing her school experiences and progress.
